Code of Conduct

As an international non-profit nature conservation organization, Sea Shepherd adheres to very high standards in terms of corporate social responsibility (CSR) and green supplies.

Working with governments and other non-profits, we help improve water quality and provide better access to food for local communities. We maintain sustainability through local cleanups, reporting and preventing IUU fishing, and intercepting vessels to prevent the slaughter of marine life.

These direct actions continue through the products in our merchandise and we take great responsibility in selecting and working with suppliers who have the same ecological DNA. Our suppliers are selected for their use of organic or recycled materials, fair trade, eco-certification, sustainable production processes and community involvement. We support our workers and all our products have GOTS or Fairtrade certifications (or similar).

With each wash, plastic fibres from synthetic fabrics, washing machines take the route to our Oceans and are consumed by aquatic organisms.
